Hi I'm Nita

I grew up in a loving, happy home. I wanted my family to be best friends, too. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a wife, mother of five sons, mother-in-law, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and preschool teacher. I love good music, children’s books and the beach. I enjoy playing the piano and learning about the lives of my ancestors.

Why I am a Mormon

God answers prayers. I learned at an early age that as I turned to Him for help, He would help me. I learned that He knew me individually and loved me. He continues to rescue me. I have found that living the gospel of Jesus Christ as a Mormon brings me joy and happiness. It is a way of life that anchors me in a world of changing ideals and standards. It gives me direction. It gives me hope and helps me find peace and perspective when I am facing challenges and trials. It gives me an awareness of the Lord’s hand in my life. The gospel provides a blueprint and pattern of how to raise happy successful children in the world today. Living the gospel blesses me and our family.

How I live my faith

I play the piano and organ at church and teach youth gospel lessons. I help organize activities. I visit with two wonderful women each month to provide service if necessary and make sure they feel loved. I read my scriptures each day and pray each day and go to church each week and the Lord blesses me. I simply try to do my best. I love and care for my family and those around me. I love my Savior so I try to be His hands. I believe everyone should feel His love.
