Hi I'm Melissa

I grew up in Utah. I love working with disabled individuals, crafting, and being outdoors. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I have worked with individuals who have develop-mental and physical disabilities. I love to work with them and see what brings happiness into their lives. I plan to go to school to become a behavior specialist to better assist individuals with disabilities.I also have interests in photography, sewing, and anything that can be fixed and made to look like new.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon. I love the happiness and peace that this gospel brings to my life. I have family members that are not Mormons. So I have been able to see life from different points of the spectrum. I know that being a Mormon not only brings happiness and peace, but love and friendship as well. The church has so many amazing organizations that bring friendship and love into the lives of the members. I know that we are children of a Heavanly Father who loves us and has provided a plan for us to be able to return to him again. He sent his son Jesus Christ to suffer for our sins so that it was possible for us to repent. I know that Joseph Smith saw and spoke with Heavanly Father and Jesus Christ. We have living apostles and prophets today that help lead and guide us to keep us on the right path so we can return to our Loving Heavanly Father.

How I live my faith

I am in a YSA ( young single adult) ward with many college students. I am the visiting teaching coordinator in my ward. This is a calling that allows me to make sure sisters in the ward are being visited by other sisters every month. Visiting Teaching is a great way for sister's to make friends and get support from people in the ward.
