Hi I'm Macy Gibson

I grew up in California. I learned ASL to help me talk with my friends and the special needs students I work with. I am a LDS.

About Me

I am a college student. I am taking a 2 year break in my schooling as I prepare for and go on my mission for the church. I have studied French and Spanish for two years, and have a basic background in the Chinese language. I went to China in high school and have hosted many exchange students from China while growing up. I am also learning ASL and hope to be able to become fluent in it. Currently I am working as a Special Education Instructional Assistant where I am working with a young boy who is deaf in one ear and hard of hearing in the other. I help to translate the lesson and when he needs help following along.

Why I am a Mormon

I have come to know for myself that this is Jesus Christ's church. And that He loves me so much.

How I live my faith

I am very involved and active in the Church. I recently received a calling to serve an 18 month mission in New Jersey in the Spanish Language. As I prepare and wait for the time to come for me to go on my mission I am a leader to the young women (ages 12-18) in my area.
