Hi I'm Skyler

I grew up in California, I'm friendlier than I appear or first show. I'm also a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a friendly person, shy with people I don't know but grow comfortable quickly most of the time. Main hobby is, or was, playing video games. I enjoy guns as well including shooting them. I'm not a health nut but I do enjoy putting my best effort in on staying in shape, I find it easier to do tasks related to exercise when I have someone to do them with. I enjoy movies of basically all kinds: horror, sci-fi, action, adventure, thriller, comedy, romantic-comedy, chick flicks here and there, name it and I probably wouldn't mind seeing it, granted that I'm okay with the rating. I enjoy seeing a smile on others faces along with joy and happiness. One of the most important things to me after The Lord is my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because I was born into the religion, I was not converted to this religion because of that though. When I was younger, I questioned my beliefs and even IF I believed. Just because I was born into this religion, it didn't mean that I was converted. It wasn't until I went on a youth trip called Trek, which is a trip where the youth go and do the same things that the hand cart pioneers did in their time, did I learn what I truly wanted. Once I was completely separated from the loud noises, endless sea of voices and opinions, and worries of the world, did I see what the lord was trying to tell me all along. After three days I realized that those who are truly happy, those who truly cared about me, those who lived how my mind and heart desired to live, did I realize that my desires were the same and my wants the same.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in a variety of ways. To share some I would say that the way I live my faith is by serving my mission. Another is by doing home teaching and sharing wonderful messages with those I home teach, a,long with making sure that there isn't anything else they may need help with. Other ways I live my faith is by reading my scriptures as often as I can, or participating in a service that the youth have put together. I pray often and sincerely to the Lord every day and give thanks to him for how things may go or what may happen along with asking him for wonderful opportunities that I may help another or answer a question someone may have.
