Hi I'm Shelsey

I'm a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in the Alpine German-Speaking mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy playing the piano, flute, and alto saxophone. I am an undergraduate student with an Associates of Science and on my way to a Bachelors in computer science. I love reading. I was raised a Mormon and am currently serving a mission in Southern Germany, Austria, and eastern Switzerland.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because it makes me happy. As I've tried to live according to the commandments and teachings of the Gospel, I've seen myself growing closer to my parents and siblings. I grew up in this church, but that doesn't mean that I haven't been converted. I know that it is the church that I want to be a part of, because I believe in its teachings and I know that if I continue on this path I will avoid much of the heartache and trials that lie in wait for those who choose not to follow this path. I'm excited to become a wife and a mother, and I'm even more excited to know that through this Gospel I will be able to be with my husband and children for all eternity. All in all, I know that in order to become the best, happiest person I can be, I should follow the teachings of this church.

How I live my faith

I study my scriptures and pray on a daily basis. I look for opportunities to serve others, and am currently taking a year and a half off of school to serve a full-time mission.
