Hi I'm Rhett

I am a red head from Texas, actually I move a lot, but right now I am serving a mission in Vancouver, Washington. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 6 children and everything I know and believe is based on how much I love my family. I am a twin of a missionary serving in the Dominican Republic. I enjoy living life and smiling, before my mission I found a taste for breakdancing, which next to eating food is my biggest hobby. I was born into the church, but I wasn't born with a testimony, that did not come until much later.

Why I am a Mormon

Yes I was born into this life style, but we all have choices, though I was born "mormon" I did not believe in the church or its teachings fully until I was 18 years old. I lived a great life following my parents testimony, leaning on it. I did the whole routine: go to church, go to church activities, go to seminary, but didn't grasp the meaning. As I grew older I began to hear more and more about missions and missionaries, I noticed those next few years I was hearing the same question over and over again, "are you going on a mission?, are you going on a mission?" Every time I went to church people asked me this question. I decided then that there was no way that I am going to serve a mission, my belief in God and Jesus decreased and so did my faith. and when this happens we do stupid things, I did. Jesus Christ died for us and felt the pain for all our sins, at this time I became lost and decided to try praying and reading my scriptures again, I went to church, and for the first time I was able to believe in something for myself. Through prayer and love of our Heavenly Father i decided to go on a mission, here I am now with a message that I know will bless every ones life as it has blessed mine. Is life easier now, no, but I no its possible and worth it, because we have a guide, and that is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

How I live my faith

I am a full-time missionary and can pretty much say I live my faith 24/7, even while I am sleeping, I spend most of my days sharing a special message of Jesus Christ with all sorts of people. When I am not sharing this message I am doing some kind of service for someone.
