Hi I'm Scott

I'm an Electrical Engineering major. I'm a cyclist. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born in the church, I grew up in the Central Valley. I love to stay active either running, cycling or simply working out. I have been all over Europe and some parts of Africa travelling with my family.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up, people always asked me why I was a Mormon, and honestly, it wasn't until I was about thirteen where I actually chose for myself to be an active member of the church. It was then when I was given the freedom to sin, where I made the choice not to. I was able to see how the teachings of the church had blessed me enough to refrain from making some wrong, life-altering decisions. By simply following what I had been taught my entire life, I was able to build a testimony of the church, and from there, I knew that it was the path I wanted to live by. I began to pay more attention during church lessons and really began to want to know more about this religion I had been apart of my entire life. From then on, I would pray sincerely to my Heavenly Father for some insights and each and every time I felt His spirit with me. When we do ask with sincere hearts, He will show us the way. And that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I'm not perfect. But I see my faults. Growing up the church, I was taught at a young age that though we sin, we can be forgiven. I live my faith to the best of my ability. When I make a mistake of simply see an area of my life where I can improve it, I pray to our Heavenly Father. I partake in daily scripture study. I attend weekly church. When I do all this, I know that I can be blessed to be not only a better, but the best version of myself that I can be.
