Hi I'm Kensea

I'm half Nicaraguan, I have 3 little sisters that I love to death!! I love to play the ukulele and I'm a Mormon, a happy one :)

About Me

I recently graduated High School, since then I've been pursuing a career in nursing. I love my family, they are super special to me. I love Christmas. I really like music, I play the ukulele and I am currently learning how to play the guitar. One of my favorite things to do is take naps in the sun. I like to make people smile and laugh. I absolutely adore elephants and someday I would like to go to Thailand and spend time with them.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the church, I never really questioned the gospel or wondered at its truthfulness until I was a teenager. Thats when I decided to read the Book of Mormon and find out for myself if the church was true. I found that is it was :) Thank Goodness. Something I've learned is that you NEED to read the Book of Mormon and ask of God before you decide if the church is true. Reading the Book of Mormon is vital if you want to know of its truthfulness, if you want a testimony of Joseph Smith and a testimony that the Book of Mormon is the word of God. During my senior year of High School, life brought me some hard trials. So I decided to put some of the gospels teachings to the test. I prayed and pleaded to Heavenly Father to help me through this difficult time. Sometimes I asked him to carry me through the day, I knew I couldn't do it by myself. Not only did I find that Heavenly Father was ALWAYS there for me, but I learned that life was never meant to be lived without him. I am so much happier when I acknowledge God and when I pray to him, and when I use the Atonement in my life, which wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for my Savior and brother Jesus Christ. Thats why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying my hardest to live the standards of the gospel and by finding opportunities to serve. I absolutely love going to church on Sundays! Its my favorite part of the week, I love learning more about the gospel and my Savior, Jesus Christ. One of the things I love about the gospel is that there is always more to learn, your never done acquiring knowledge.
