Hi I'm Liz

I come from a family of eight. I love to read things and talk about them. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to write and read. Because of this I am studying English Education in college. I hope to be able to teach middle school, which sounds completely crazy, I know. I also love to sing. In the last six years of my life there hasn't been a time when I wasn't in some sort of choir. My father was a music teacher, so music has always been a huge part of my life. I also enjoy quoting movies and daydreaming.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy to live this way. The Mormon faith astounds me because of the emphasis that is put on each persons individual choice to become more like Jesus Christ each day. I may have been born and raised in the church, but I do not live the gospel simply because it is a habit. I have come to the knowledge of its truthfulness for myself. I know that Christ is my Savior and that the Atonement has real, daily significance in our lives. I know that Heavenly Father spoke to Joseph Smith and that He speaks to Thomas S. Monson

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many little ways. I don't currently have a specific responsibility in the church, but I do strive to take daily actions that bring me closer to my Heavenly Father. I love to read my scriptures, particularly the Book of Mormon, and I am continually learning more about prayer. Most importantly, I'm trying to become more like my Savior Jesus Christ by serving the people around me and loving them as much as I can.
