Hi I'm Dan

I've moved around but I've mostly grew up in Nevada. I'm a singer and home schooled and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 18 years old. I act, sing graduated high school early, go on lots of dates and love to play the occasional pickup game with the guys.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents were both LDS so I grew up in the Mormon church. I always enjoyed going to church and being a little menace to the teachers and playing with everyone. When I was still young about..... 11 I think I fought with my parents and siblings quite a bit ran away once, refused to go to school, just making my parents miserable for a while. One night during all this I woke up and was scared but did not want my parents help. But when my mother came to me I had difficult refusing. I wondered that night how my mother could come down in a time of need and comfort me even after I had been such a pest to her. That night I wanted to change. I prayed and I felt my Heavenly Father's love and decided to read the Book of Mormon. The next night I picked it up started reading and did not put it down until three that morning! The following nights I did the same until I had finished it. Then I read it again and again. Reading that sacred book caused me to be happier, a help to my family instead of a burden and to become closer to Jesus Christ and it has changed my life for the better and continues to everyday. I am grateful for the Book of Mormon and the restored truths and testimony of Jesus Christ it shares.

How I live my faith

I keep high standers. I read my scriptures and pray to God every morning and night. I teach the youth in my ward how to research their ancestors, (which sometimes is a chore! But I love it.) I visit some of the widows in our ward and bring them the sacrament. I attend our youth groups every week and plan lots of them. It's a great time to get together and share some good wholesome fun. We also strengthen each other, there have been several times where I have gone to youth group and I am either just uplifted because of everyones spirit or someone can talk to me and I just share my experiences with them, but always we just have fun. :)
