Hi I'm Lacey Peterson

I'm from Utah. I hope to bring light and joy to people's lives. I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.

About Me

I'm 19 years old. I am currently serving a full-time mission. I have been called to serve in the North Carolina Raleigh mission. This last December I graduated from college with an associates degree. I used to play percussion in high school and I've also played guitar, piano, and the violin. I like outdoor activities such as snowboarding, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting, and riding horses. I also love to read.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe in Christ. I know that he atoned for my sins and made the sacrifice I could not. He gave me a way to return again to our most beautiful and gracious home. I know that he didn’t have to make that sacrifice, but he loves all of us so much, so he did. Words cannot express how grateful I am for that precious gift. I have a testimony of the temple. I know that only through God’s Holy Home we can receive the highest blessings he can bestow upon us here on earth. I know that it is His home, and that he has welcomed in those who will come to unto him. I know that he wants us to return again to him in order to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven that he wants to give to us. I know that we are literal sons and daughters of a very loving and glorious God. That Jesus Christ is our brother and he has set a perfect example for us to follow. I have a testimony of the prophet(s). That he has been called of God and is the only man to hold all of the priesthood keys on earth. I know that through him God the Eternal Father and Jesus Christ his son can speak to us. I know that the priesthood is God’s power and through it we can receive blessings and a way to accomplish the goals of the Savior. I have a testimony of tithing, and all the blessings that come with it. I know that my Redeemer lives and I will return to him someday. I am going to do everything I can to make sure that happens. I am also going to do all I can to make sure that others receive that opportunity as well.

How I live my faith

In my church I have held many leadership callings. While attending a youth ward I had been assigned as a teacher and ward missionary. These callings have helped me grow and gain a testimony of Jesus Christ and His gospel.

What do Mormons believe about family?

Lacey Peterson
After God and our Savior Jesus Christ, family is one of the biggest core beliefs taught in the church. We are all sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father. He sent us to earth to gain a mortal body and to gain experience so that we may return to live with him again someday. He loves us all so very much and wants us all to return to Him. He has given us the truly wonderful gift of being able to have a family of our own here on earth. Our loving Heavenly Father teaches that we can be with our families forever through firstly the sacrifice of His son Jesus Christ who atoned for our sins, and secondly through our desires to follow Him by being baptized, and sealed together as a family in one of God's holy temples.
