Hi I'm Ashlee

I'm a ballerina. I love animals. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a young teenager, and I have done ballet for most of my life. Doing so has taught me so many valuable lessons, physical and spiritual. I love expressing myself through dance! I also love animals with all my heart. I have had a cat, chickens, a dog, and a hamster. I would love to live on a farm with even more animals! One of my favorite things to do is volunteering with the youth team at my local animal shelter. I like to play piano and listen to music. Some other things I like to do are reading, writing, hiking (or other outdoor activities), and doing ceramics.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born a member of the LDS church, but I still have had to learn and convert spiritually to the gospel. I have faced challenges and trials, but I have come to know for myself the power and significance of the Atonement of Jesus Christ. He saw each and every one of us individually as He suffered for our sins and took upon Himself our physical and spiritual pains, our guilt, our heartache, our loneliness, or whatever else we struggle with. Jesus Christ wanted to feel our individual struggles so that He would understand exactly how to help and love us according to how we need it. One thing has greatly impacted my testimony is the tender mercies of the Lord. His plan, His infinite love, and His unfailing mercy are so profound to me. There are people we are sent to help, people who are sent to help us, and there are guardian angels watching over us. This gospel brings me so much joy and peace, and I want to share that with whoever I can. I have learned so much about my individual worth and divine potential, and that is so important to me. I know I'm still learning, but Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, and the Spirit can always be with me to help me learn as long as I am faithful and let Them in.

How I live my faith

I love going to church each Sunday and being involved in the Young Women program to learn in the gospel and develop myself. I have grown a greater love for prayer and scripture study, as well as a greater capacity to feel God's hand in my life. My faith of Heavenly Father's love has been strengthened so much, and I love being able to share His love through small, simple acts of kindness. Charity is such an important virtue to me, and I'm striving to make it a significant part in the way I live my life.
