Hi I'm Kira

I come from Zion National Park. I love music. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school and didn't really know what direction to head when I got to college, so I choose to do the thing I love. It was difficult, but I pulled through one semester because I loved the subject. It was then that I realized I needed to go on a mission. I have always loved my family, my values, singing, dancing, reading, camping, cooking/baking. I never had many friends but I have a best friend who I know will always be there for me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it is true. I know that Christ lives and loves me. I know that Heavenly Father has a plan for me and would do anything for me if I was doing my best and asking for his help. I know that I am never alone. I know that god is willing to answer our questions and I know he is always listening.

How I live my faith

I live my faith through my daily life. I find that god is always near me when I live 100% the way he wants me to. I live honestly, I live kindly, I live faithfully, and I live fully. I follow gods commandments to the best of my abilities. I realize sometimes that something isn't right and that is when I realize that something is not how god intends it to be.

Mormons believe Jesus Christ is their Savior. Why do we need a Savior?

Kira
We believe that when we make a mistake, we can be forgiven. Jesus Christ while he was on the earth suffered for our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross. When we sincerely repent of our sins and use the atonement Christ takes our sin from us so that we can continue to progress and the guilt is taken from us. To repent we need to confess our sin to god, ask forgiveness from god and those we hurt, fix the problem, promise to God to never make the sin again, strive to keep the commandments. After we have done this we will feel peace, forgiveness and the guilt will be gone. Show more Show less
