Hi I'm Jacklyn Fisher

I'm a California wife and mom of four kids. I'm a believer of all things natural. I'm learning as I go. I love being Mormon!

About Me

I am blessed to be a stay-at-home wife and mother of 4 active kids. We are a gluten free family as our children can't eat gluten. We have backyard chickens. I'm a BYU Recreation Management Grad. I studied abroad in the Middle East and Africa. I served a mission in the California Santa Rosa Mission. I was raised in Florida. We've lived in Maryland and Boston.

Why I am a Mormon

The church has always been a part of my life. I have always felt the truth in my heart and had a desire to live it. My life experience gradually strengthened my testimony of the gospel. Starting in my youth, there have been numerous moments where the Holy Ghost has touched my heart. I'm grateful for every experience, knowing the Lord was teaching and guiding me. I find peace during troubling times though the gospel of Jesus Christ. Attending the temple with my family is a source of real strength. I'm a Mormon because I know His Gospel has been restored today. I know the prophet and leaders of this church are true disciples of the Savior and act in His name. This confirmation burns within me every time I hear them speak. I do not follow blindly. I have prayed and studied. I have learned for myself. I know it to all be true.

How I live my faith

We enjoy participating in our community and doing things as a family. I volunteer in the schools our children attend teaching art and helping with math and reading. We enjoy participating in community sports and events. I get to work with the little ones in nursery on Sundays and love being with them. I've enjoyed all the opportunities the church has given me to learn and develop in a variety of areas. My faith and religion is part of my everyday life. The gospel gives me perspective and provides me with strength to be the best wife, mother and person that I can. Those around us recognize our family differences. They notice the happiness. They notice we don't drink alcohol and coffee or participate in Sunday events. They notice a difference in the way our children speak, dress and act. They ask us questions. They want to know more.
