Hi I'm Fredrick

I was born in Texas and I grew up in Colorado. I'm the youngest of four children and I am a Mormon!

About Me

I am a teenager who has recently graduated high school. I reside in beautiful Colorado I am not only the youngest of my siblings, I am the youngest of all my dozens of cousins as well. I enjoy things like Frisbee golf and bowling. I want to go to college and major in computer programming. In a short while I will be serving in the Atlanta, Georgia mission.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I have a faithful mother that has been very good to me in helping me understand the church. Being a Mormon and knowing the truthfulness of the Gospel has been a great blessing in my life. it brings me joy to know of others who have converted unto the Gospel. There are so many wonderful people that I have had the opportunity to know in the church that have been wonderful to me in harder times. They have been great blessings for me. I find that if I pray when I have concerns, that the answers to my questions will be made known unto me. Even if it doesn't come immediately, or it comes indirectly in an unexpected way. I choose to be a Mormon and keep the commandments of God because doing so has given me a great understanding and brought to me many blessing in my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith though fulfilling various callings in the church. I've had callings such as Priesthood Chorister (The person who leads the music) and, The president of my quorum. These were callings that I have enjoyed very much. Over the past few years I have had the opportunity to teach many wonderful families. In fact I will be going on a mission very soon in which my main goal will be to teach many about the truthfulness of the Gospel. I also live my faith though active study of the scriptures and the words of the prophets. I find that prayer is an amazing thing that can help me though anything. Whether it be helping me on a test or helping me deal with a hard loss. It is important in living my faith to constantly by hanging around those who respect my belief and act accordingly. I avoid places that could potentially keep the Holy Spirit out of my life. Thus, I try to avoid temptation and when temptation shows itself I keep it away by reading the scriptures, listing to uplifting music, and other such things. I know the importance of living in true faith.
