Hi I'm Cheyenne

I grew up in Illinois. I am a convert to the church. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I love being in plays. I love being around little children, I would like to be a teacher when I'm older.

Why I am a Mormon

It took a while for me to come around to accepting the gospel. But after praying about it for a while I felt it was right. I was baptized and it took 3 years before I could truly say i was a Mormon. Now that I accept that I would not be able to deny it. I love the gospel and I know without a doubt that Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer, I know that we have a Father in Heaven that loves us unconditionally, I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and i know that Thomas s. Monson is the living prophet and that he lead and guides this church by the authority of God.

How I live my faith

I am currently a teacher in the nursery. I also am going to serve a mission.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

Cheyenne
A testimony is your spiritual knowledge of the gospel. You receive this when the Holy Ghost testifies to you that this is true. You can have a testimony of many gospel principles such as: a knowledge of the life and love of our Heavenly Father, that Jesus Christ lives and that his is the Son of God and that we are saved though his Atoning sacrifice, that Joseph Smith is a prophet of God, or that this Jesus Christ's church on earth today, also that we have a living prophet. These are just the foundation of our testimony's and as we learn and grow in the gospel so will our testimonies. Show more Show less
