Hi I'm Camber Simmons

I am figuring out this life little by little and I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest of 5 children and am currently attending college while I prepare to serve my mission to Atlanta Georgia. I love to be outdoors and just have fun. I enjoy spending time with my friends, family and especially my nieces and nephews. I am an organizer and love to do anything crafty. I recently graduated from high school where I spend most of my time on the sidelines at sporting events being a cheerleader and rooting for my team. I loved doing that and being able to support others. If I wasn't there I spent my time doing loads of homework or coaching gymnastics which is one of my passions as well.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this gospel as a Latter-day Saint and I feel very blessed to have be able to learn principles of this gospel from such a young age. Growing up I knew that we read scriptures, said family prayer and went to church every Sunday but it wasn't until I was around 14 years old that I really gained my testimony of this church. It was a simple prayer that was answered and from that moment on I have had a sure knowledge that there is no way this gospel isn't true. I love the peace and happiness it has brought into my life and the comfort I can feel daily that keeps me going and helps me stay truthful to the principles that this gospel is built upon.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to be the best example I can be. The way I feel that I learn best is by watching others so I try to show others what I believe through my words and actions. I try my best everyday to read the scriptures to increase my own knowledge of this gospel. I find myself feeling closest to Christ when I am serving others and bringing happiness in my home. I find it important for my own happiness to uplift others and try to be a support to friends, family and other people I come in contact with.
