Hi I'm Cory

I grew up in a small county in Virginia called Gloucester. I'm a typical young adult, and I'm a mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the same county my whole life. I went to school almost all the same people from elementary school to high school. I was an average student. I love the outdoors, Virginia is such a beautiful place. My first job starting in highschool was working at the local movie theater. It was a great first job, and I grew to love watching movies. I also enjoy long boarding, and enjoying time with friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have a strong and continually growing testimony of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. I have been mormon as I grew up in the church, but that isnt the reason I am still a part of this church. About 2 years ago I thought I would do the "adult thing" and move out and live with my friend. It was a great experience. I met so many new people, made alot of friends, tried new things, and thought I was happy. I stopped going to church though. After about a year, I started to feel like something was missing. That I could be happier. Then the thought popped in my head, it is your time to go on a mission. From that point on I changed my life around and started to do everything I needed to do to go on a mission, including going to church every Sunday. My knowledge about the gospel and testimony has never been stronger since.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by regularly attending church on Sunday. I am currently the assistant scout master in our ward and help the youth. Im am preparing to serve a 2 year mission.
