Hi I'm Erin

I grew up in England. I'm a Biochemistry student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in North-East England and moved to the USA recently to go to university where I'm studying Biochemistry. Now I'm a Missionary for the Church in North Carolina, where I'll be for the next 18 months. I'm part of a huge and diverse extended family that includes people from all over the world, including India, Japan, America, Belgium and England. I like hiking and the wilderness in general, as well as creative writing and learning more about the world and the people in it.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in the Church and my family are members. I was baptised when I was 8, like a lot of kids in the Church are and I kept attending. As I got older and learned more the more it has all made sense. I can't imagine what it would be like to not know that I'm never alone, that my life has purpose and direction, that families are forever, that there is someone who understands me so completely and loves me unconditionally, and because of this person, Jesus Christ, that things that are wrong can be made right.

How I live my faith

I've been a Sunday School teacher for a couple of years, first for 14-18 year olds then for 19-30 year olds. I've loved it: everyone brings something to the class and hopefully everyone leaves with a little more. Now I've put life on hold while I go to be a Missionary so I can share a message of hope and love with the people there. What it comes down to is that I'm a Missionary because our Father in Heaven loves His Children.
