Hi I'm Geo

And I am an 19 year old missionary. I am a Mormon!

About Me

Hi, my name is Geomar. And I am an 18 year old college student from the awesome country of Canada. I consider myself a renaissance man who is constantly seeking greater knowledge. I love languages and feel that God has blessed me with the talent of learning them quickly. I can currently speak three fluent languages, and hope to master five fluent languages before I complete my undergraduate studies. Furthermore, I am currently working on a Bio-medical Sciences degree so I can move on to medical school after I graduate. My life long dream is to become an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon. I am also a person who loves my savior and he loves me. My name is Geomar, and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

The gospel has truly brought peace and happiness in my life. I know that my savior Jesus Christ loves and cares about me, and also every one us. He loved us so much that he chose to die for us on the cross that our sins might be forgiven and that we might have the opportunity to be resurrected and return to dwell with our Father in Heaven. I have personally felt the love and redeeming grace of the atonement and has continually seen the hands of the lord working mighty miracles in my life each day. With the joy and love that I have felt, I made a promise to my savior Jesus Christ that because he has blessed me and redeemed my heart, I will be his servant to bring others to feel and embrace the joy and peace that I have felt. As a missionary, my purpose is to invite all to come unto Christ and partake of his goodness. Through the means of repentance, baptism, and receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, each one you can experience the special feelings of being cleanse from the undesirable things of the past. In conclusion, I want to promise you that no matter how lost, imperfect, or neglected you feel you are, God is always there for you and he sees and understands your pain. You are his children and he sees great potential in you. If you would just choose to ask God for help, I bear witness to you that he will answer you when you are sincere and have faith that he is there. I know our Heavenly Father is real and his Son Jesus Christ died for us in his mortal ministry because of his immense love for each one of you. These things I cannot deny and I testify of them solemnly in my heart in the name of Jesus Christ Amen.

How I live my faith

I am currently a full-time missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. In other words, I spend most of my days sharing and inviting others to come unto Christ for two years. Although many people may have the misconception that the two young men on the streets in white shirts and ties are there to convert, that is completely false. As representatives of God, we are there as his instruments in helping others find out for themselves if the gospel is true. We can share our own testimonies and what we know to be true to a certain extent, but the choice and decision is up to you to make for yourselves. Being a missionary is a hard job, I won't lie, the physical and emotional aspects takes a heavy toll on us and sometimes may feel unbearable. However, it is because of our love and personal witness of the truthfulness of the gospel and Jesus Christ that enables us to push on and endure all the hardships we face. As we our faithful and enduring, God will pour out his spirit upon us, thus, enabling us to do our duty for two years. Words cannot describe how happy I am to be blessed with the opportunity to share this great message with you each day.

Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Geo
Each missionary has a different reason as to why they want to share the gospel. The reason why I want to share this wonderful gospel with other people is because I want others to taste and feel and joy that I have experienced through my conversion and relationship with my savior and redeemer Jesus Christ. As missionaries, we are here as servants of the Lord in serving and inviting you to come unto Christ and feel of his everlasting love towards each one of his children. Show more Show less
