Hi I'm Malivahn

I'm Laotian. I grew up in Minnesota. I cut hair. I love Mallory and Michael. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in Laos and lived there until I was 5. I grew up in Minnesota and consider myself an America. I married a Canadian and now I live in Spruce Grove, Alberta! I love my 4-year-old daughter, Mallory and my husband, Michael. I'm a retired hairstylist, now I stay at home with my sweet girl! I'm currently studying Marriage & Family Studies at BYU-Idaho online and love it!

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon, because I believe in Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. I believe Joseph Smith is true prophet of God. When I was 5, 2 Laotian speaking missionaries knocked on my parent's door. The Church has been in my life since then however I wasn't baptized until I was 10 years old. My dad baptized me, and it's such a special memory. There were a few years where I fell away from my religion and lived the ways of the world. I discovered that I needed the companionship of the Holy Ghost again. I started attending church again 2 years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made in my life. I found my way back home, and Heavenly Father welcomed me with open arms!

How I live my faith

I live my faith by fulfilling my calling (CTR 4 Primary Teacher, which means I teach 4-year-old's every Sunday), learning about families (BYU-Idaho), visit-teaching, and daily prayer and scripture study.
