Hi I'm Megan

I grew up in Washington State. I'm a mother of four and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a young mother of four children. I love to read and hike. Before children I worked as a Dental Assistant. Now I work from my home but spend most of my time trying to figure out how to be a mom and wife! I am sad and excited to be past the stage of adding to our family. We are moving into a new stage of life that keeps is busier than ever- in a good way. I love my family.

Why I am a Mormon

When I was a teenager in high school, a friend asked me one day, "Why are you always so happy?" My reply then is the same today. "Because I know who I am and I know where I am going." These assurances are mine because of the gospel of Jesus Christ, as restored through the prophet Joseph Smith. The gospel doesn't take away the challenges of life. But it is a light in the darkness, guiding my feet along the path , and giving me peace to understand that my life here matters. That I have choices to make and lessons to learn all leading me back to my home in heaven, with my Father in Heaven.

How I live my faith

Right now I get to serve as a ward missionary; helping members of the church to serve their neighbors and assist those new members starting new beginnings. I love the opportunities this has provided me to think and look outside myself to see the needs of those around me and to bear witness of the things I know to be true. Serving in this capacity has helped me live the gospel more fully. It has blessed my life and my family with new friendships and a greater capacity to love. I less intimidated and more comfortable with sharing with others who I am and my love for my Savior.
