Hi I'm Tracy Lor :)

I grew up in Sacramento, CA. I'm serving my mission in the beautiful island of...HAWAII! I love food! Laughing! I'm a Mormon! :)

About Me

I'm 20 years old and the youngest of 10(so I'm pretty darn spoiled)! I enjoy playing all sorts of sports, but I love volleyball the most! I am Hmong and yes, the "H" is silent. Lol. I was raised in the gospel and know that it is true, therefore I will go and share the happiness that it brings to me. I love to laugh because that is the best cure to everything! :D

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a Mormon, grew up as a Mormon, and still a Mormon because I know it to be the truest gospel. Attending church regularly, reading and studying my scriptures, praying sincerely on my knees daily, serving others gladly, keeping the commandments and the word of wisdom, and continuously striving to become more Christ-like has touched my heart in no other way possible. The feeling I get when I feel the spirit is indescribable, but once you feel it, you'll know it to be true, and it will always be there. I know that families can be together for eternity. I know that by praying and following the voice of the Lord you and your loved ones will be blessed. I know that Jesus Christ lives, that he atoned for us so that we may one day go back and be in the presence of our Father in Heaven again. I know that by doing what is right, you will feel good about yourself and constantly have a happy spirit. I know that Prophet Thomas S. Monson is our living prophet today. I know that he speaks and receives revelation from the Lord. I know that if we do our very best, he will do the rest. I know that if we live righteously, no blessings will be withstand from us. Life is definitely to be enjoyed and not just endured. :)

How I live my faith

I have been called to serve as our ward's young women's Camp Director for 3 years now, and I love the company and feeling that we find up at camp. Every year we have one big fundraiser to pay for the girl's camp fee. I was also called to be our ward's and stake young women's personal progress adviser. We help each other to stay determined and motivated to finish the personal progress booklet. Now, my calling is to be a ward missionary. It gives us the privilege to share the gospel to others and to be in service of each other. Also, since I'm preparing to serve a mission I will need that experience before going out and doing that continuously for 18 months! :D
