Hi I'm Adam Smith

Raised in beautiful Montana. I play rugby, football, and I swim. I'm a private pilot. I co-own 4A Enterprises. Love my family.

About Me

I'm a Montana boy who is heading out to college at BYU. Don't know what I'm going to study yet, but I'll figure that out as it come. I love my cows, dogs, and horses (even though I'm allergic). I love playing sports, and my favorite is rugby. My club team won state my freshman and junior year of high school. I have been extremely blessed in my life and have had the opportunity to take flight lessons. As of February of 2014, I am a licensed private pilot. I love flying so much, and it helps me to always see the beauty in the world. I was born with a fraternal twin named Aaron, who died at 3 months old from SIDS. My family members are my favorite, and have always supported me. I love to travel, and have traveled through much of the United States, as well as China, New Zealand, Samoa, and Mexico.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a member of the Church of Jesus Christ because it's true. The gospel of Jesus Christ brings happiness and I will avidly confirm that until I collapse. I didn't always know this however. I didn't even know for myself until my junior year in high school, when I received a personal confirmation of the spirit, which is essential to find God. I don't know this church is true because archaeological and early Christian writings support the Book of Mormon. I don't know it's trues because of the countless facts, including complex chiastic structure, that point toward the legitimacy of Joseph Smith. I know it's true because I have had the Holy Spirit confirm the truth to me. I believe in being honest and good to all men.

How I live my faith

Although I'm far from perfect, I try to live my faith in every aspect of life. I try to make it trickle through everything I do and say. This is why I'm choosing to serve a 2 year mission away from family and friends, with minimal contact, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Previously I have served my church by putting together youth activities, going on food drives, caroling and things of that nature. C.S Lewis once said that “Christianity, if false, is of no importance, and if true, of infinite importance, the only thing it cannot be is moderately important.” I think this is not only a great point, but how I want approach my beliefs as well.
