Hi I'm Christopher Skaggs

I was born and raised in Southern California. I like running, hiking, wrestling, ceramics and I am currently a student at BYU.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University and am loving it. I am going to major in exercise science and then go to medical school. I am leaving to go on a mission for my church in June of 2015 to Comodoro Rivadavia, Argentina. I am really excited to leave and spread the gospel to the people in Argentina.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (Mormon Church) we are told in Matthew 7 "By their fruits ye shall know them" when I look at the Church I can see that we have good fruit. As a church we believe that when we are blessed financially we need to give the help that we can to those that are less fortunate. We apply the same principal with regards to our beliefs. We have been blessed with a knowledge of the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe in sharing our beliefs with all that are willing to hear them. I think that this is a wonderful principal, being able to help others in whatever trials that they have whether they are financial, emotional, physical or spiritual is a great thing. I have a testimony of Christ, he lives, he is the leader of our church and wants above all else for all of his children to return to him.

How I live my faith

I am actively involved in my church responsibilities, I attend church for 3 hours weekly so that I can continue to strengthen my testimony in Christ. As a member of the church I try to represent my self with integrity in all things as well as a strong set of good Christian morals.
