Hi I'm Taylor

I grew up in California. I am a youth and high school wrestling coach and I am a mormon.

About Me

I was in both choir and theater while I was in grade school. I also did sports such as wrestling, football, track, and water polo while I was in high school. I really enjoy being with people and making others smile. I went to college in Hawaii and met some really amazing people who taught me a lot. I had to transfer though because I changed my major to something that the college didn't have. I am now going to college in Idaho, which is way colder than I thought was possible. I have started to boulder and rock climb and do so whenever I have time, or money. I love my family and have had the blessing of them being there to support me even though I am far from perfect.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Book of Mormon to be true. I have prayed about it and practiced what it teaches and have felt the love that God has for me. I have felt His love for me throughout my life but never really knew that it was true until 2 years ago when I made a mistake that God has commanded us not to. I knew what I did was wrong and felt worthless and unworthy dispite my friends and family telling me otherwise. It was a really hard time for me and I felt I could fix everything on my own...that was not the case. No matter how hard I tried to right my wrong it was never enough. Finally I did the last thing I could do and what I should have done first. I knelt down and prayed for forgivness and help to fix what I had done. After praying I felt God's love for me stronger than I had ever felt it and I knew that I was worth something and worthy of His love because I am His creation. He also helped give me clarity of thought and I was able to finally do what was needed of me to fix my wrong. As I continue reading the Book of Mormon and continue doing what it teaches I know that it is true and can only be one thing. The word of God.

How I live my faith

I try to live the Gospel of Christ every day. I feel as if just getting someone to smile helps so I say hi to everyone I pass during the day and will occasionally compliment them. This I enjoy doing because some people are walking with frowns but I can get some of them to smile. I also try to help at least 2 people a day. I go to church every Sunday and go to every church activity that I can. I aslo invite at least one person to go with me so that way they can feel incuded because when I was growing up I was never invited anywhere and I know how much that can hurt and I don't want others to feel the same.
