Hi I'm Nanci

I am a wife, a mom of 4, an elementary school teacher, breast cancer survivor and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am married to a wonderful man, and we have been blessed with four children, one daughter and three sons. I love my family and enjoy participating in their activities and spending time with them. I work as a 4th grade teacher and enjoy watching them learn and grow everyday. I like to be outdoors, to garden, to walk, and to enjoy the beauties of nature. I feel extremely blessed for the experiences I have had in life, for the opportunities to grow, and to be a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints when I was 19. Since then, knowing that the gospel is true gives me joy and hope everyday. It gives purpose to life knowing that I am a daughter of God, who loves me and knows me personally. I know that I have the power to make choices and that if I live worthily, that I can live forever with my Heavenly Father and my family. I am grateful for the guidance in the scriptures, the living prophet, and faithful friends and family that help me to live the best life I can. The gospel helps me to see the big picture and focus on what's important in life.

How I live my faith

Often times, those that I work with at school ask me how I know how to do this or how to do that. My replies are most consistently that I learned it from serving in my church. Whether it was working with the young children, the teenagers, cub scouts or in the women's organization, I can definitely attribute any talents or skills I have from serving my Heavenly Father.
