Hi I'm Harrison Green

I'm from Idaho. I work at an assisted living home and love the elderly. I love milk! Mozambique Maputo Africa Mission! 2015-2017!

About Me

I'm 20 years old and a high school graduate. I attended my first semester at BYU-Idaho and took general studies. I like to go bowling, camping, and swimming. I play the French Horn and love music. I am now serving a Full Time Mission in Mozambique and Swaziland Africa!

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up in a Mormon family, but growing up in a Mormon family is not why I am Mormon. I'm a Mormon because I have studied, prayed about, and read The Book of Mormon and found it to be true. I follow this Gospel because of the blessings it brings into my lives and others. I can see how God blesses people who follow this Gospel and how he blesses others through me for my obedience.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in many ways. The biggest way I am currently showing my faith is by preparing to be a full-time Missionary for my Church. I will server for two years in Africa! I also live my faith by attending church each week and serving others when I get a chance. I have gone out with the missionaries of my area to help teach and serve those in my community. I enjoy doing service work on my mission and to continue helping people!

Why do Mormons perform baptisms for the dead?

Harrison Green
We do baptisms for the dead because we believe that all people that have lived, are living, and will live are precious sons and daughters of God. All children of God need to participate in saving ordinances such as baptism which is done in our Holy Temples. Even Paul made mention in Corinthians 15:29 about baptisms for the dead. This just affirms to me that this is the restored church of Christ and that God is mindful of all peoples and nations: living or dead. Show more Show less
