Hi I'm Stefan Reed

Grew up in Pflugerville, TX, Vancouver and Spokane, WA. Big brother of four sisters. Serving a mission in Sweden. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I enjoy learning and discovering new things. I have an affinity for Fantasy and Science Fiction, and have a love for film and television entertainment. I'm the oldest of five children, and the only son in my family, so naturally I love spending time with my dad. I love meeting new people and making close friendships, especially ones with lots of laughter. I care about how others are feeling, and finding ways to help make them feel better. Often times I find myself thinking about the direction of my life and consider myself very introspective.

Why I am a Mormon

I have a clear testimony that Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father know us personally and love us beyond comprehension. They have a plan for each of us individually, which includes both trials and joy. I have a testimony that the challenges we face in life are never beyond our capacity to endure, and that they are there to teach us beneficial lessons. I follow this Gospel because I continue to feel the joy that it brings when I follow its teachings. As I have learned to put my trust in God and have held onto my faith, I can testify that my life has been guided in a positive direction, one that blesses me with spiritual and emotional growth. This Gospel has blessed me with so many lessons of love, that I cannot deny that there is a Heavenly Father out there who cares for us. I know that I am a son of God, just as we are all children of God. I'm grateful that I have the gift of choice, and that I have been allowed to choose for myself to be a member of this church. I have a testimony of the blessings that are received from reading both the Bible, and the Book of Mormon. As I continue to study from those sacred scriptures, I am always enlightened with a new piece of knowledge. I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints because I want to return the love, if only a fragment of it, that our Heavenly Father has given to me.

How I live my faith

I do my best to help out the members of my congregation by attending church meetings regularly, and by simply saying hello to show that I care about them. I do my best to be respectful of others by showing kindness and politeness in all my interactions. Whenever there are scheduled service projects or opportunities to help ward members, such as helping a family that's moving into or leaving the area, I do my best to attend those events and lend a hand. I am currently serving the Lord in the Sweden, Stockholm mission, and am excited to be helping my Swedish brothers and sisters come unto Christ.
