Hi I'm Gregory Fultz

I am from Maryland, I play soccer, attend BYU, am currently serving a mission in Lima Peru (central), and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am from Maryland, I am a student at Brigham Young University, and am currently serving a mission in the Peru Lima Central Mission! I love sports, in High School i played on the varsity Soccer team and also played for a local basketball team. I served as the Class President my Sophomore-Senior years and loved everything about student government! I received my Eagle Scout award my Junior Year of High School after completing my Eagle project at the Middle School I attended. I started my own lawn care company with my brother 10 years ago and was able to pay for my whole first year of college and my mission from the company. While at Brigham Young University, I hope to study and graduate from the Marriott School of Business with a Masters in Accounting.

Why I am a Mormon

I believe the first time I felt like I was "Choosing" to be a member was when I was baptized. As the weekend progressed, I turned 8 and the folowing saturday I was to be baptized. As it got closer, I got sicker...and sicker. The morning of the baptism all my cousins and family had gathered at my house and I still lied in my bed with a 102 degree temperature. As I constantly vomited and had every reason to remain in bed, I was given the choice from my loving and caring mother, "should we post pone the baptism to a later date, or would you like to try and get ready?" Right then, I knew this was my choice, and not a time I was just going to rely on my parents Testimony! As I stumbled down the stairs on my way to the car, I continued to vomit the whole way down. I had made a choice to get dressed and get moving, I quickly prayed to my father in Heaven for strength and support. As We got situated in the car, my dad turned to me and told me that I would be blessed for my choice. I quickly joked and requested the water to not be warm or hot but to be cool. Without hesitation, my dad immediately relayed the message on and they added cold water to the font. My dad cringing as he stepped into the water from the temperature reached out his hand and helped me in. As I was Baptized and chose to follow him, I truly was blessed like I have never seen before. Immediately as I was dunked under, I felt new. Not just from the choice I made, but also in my health. I was smiling ear to ear, and my mom met us in the changing room and checked for a fever, and discovered it had broke. I had been on medication for 2 days prior and nothing broke the fever. I know that from my choice to continue to get baptized even though Satan wanted the contrary, I was blessed. Heavenly Father knows our exact needs, he knows us by name, he knows who I am and most importantly he knows my weaknesses. However, He gives me the exact strength to overcome any trial placed before me. This is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As I prepared to serve a full time mission for the church, I served as a primary teacher in my home ward. I love kids and enjoyed being their primary teacher! Going back to the basics was a huge help in preparing to serve! I home taught 7 families in the ward and loved getting to know each and everyone of them! My Father was my home teaching companion and is serving as the High Priest Group leader so we had the privilege of home teaching all the single women in the ward! From Blessings, to administering the sacrament, and serving them in any way I could, I loved home teaching them each month! I grew to admire the strength and faith that they possessed day in and day out! I also loved gaining grandmother figures in my life and felt truly blessed with the opportunity to care for each and everyone of them multiple times a month! As i prepared lessons and taught them, I surely always gained more knowledge from their insight and participation in the lessons! I have fallen in love with home teaching from the experiences I gained from teaching and getting taught from these humble women.
