Hi I'm Jake

I'm a Public Health student from Boston, hoping to attend Medical School. I'm a cancer survivor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student at Brigham Young University studying Public Health, hoping to attend medical school. I was born in Seattle, Washington, but identify as being from Boston, Massachusetts. I enjoy reading Sci-Fi and Fantasy and playing the guitar.

Why I am a Mormon

Having been raised in the Church, I have had to decide whether or not I want to continue in this faith. Ultimately, the hope afforded by the Gospel of Jesus Christ is too much to give up. His atonement allows us to become better than we are. Because of Him we do not have to live in the past, we are able to move on.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by teaching my peers this gospel every two weeks in Sunday School. Teaching allows me to confirm my own faith and explore the most important doctrines of the gospel.
