Hi I'm Jessica

I grew up in Idaho. I'm a wife and mother. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a wife and mother of 4 beautiful children, 3 boys and 1 girl, and one amazing husband. My life revolves around them. I enjoy my time with my family, I enjoy taking care of them and watching them learn and grow. I’m not just a stay at home mother and wife. I also am going to school and earning my degree in psychology, I’m hoping to become a family counselor. I enjoy playing the piano, I’m not very efficient in it but I’m hoping that with practice I can become better. I also like to read a lot. I prefer to read a book then go to the movies or watch a show/movie on the TV. I love anything that has a story in it. That is also one of the reason why I love music as well. I especially love music that unfolds some kind of story. Plain and simple I love life! It is our greatest story and worth telling!

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church. I was baptized at the age of 8 by my home teacher and confirmed a member of the church by my Grandfather. I have always tried to strive to stay close to my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ, ever since I was baptized. It hasn't always been easy and there were, and still are, times that I feel like I stand alone. When I read the Book of Mormon, I soon realize that isn't true. I don't stand alone, I stand on the same side as my Savior does, as the Prophets of old, and with our Latter Day Prophet today. All I have to do is look around me and I know that I don't stand alone. And I no longer feel that I am alone!

How I live my faith

In my ward I teach the 6 years old. This is a new calling for me, I have been only doing to a couple of months. I'm amazed at these children that I teach. They truly accept everyone that is in their lives and they love them. They have shown me how I would like to be and every week I strife to be a better person because of their faith and their faith in me as their teacher.
