Hi I'm Noah

I grew up in Virginia, Morocco, and China. I like helping others. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I'm Noah. I like to play soccer, and basketball. I also like to read, hang out with my friends, and help others. I'm currently attending college, and want to major in Psychology. I'm an Eagle Scout and I love being a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up a member of the church and I love it! Living the gospel brings me great happiness and joy, and I feel the love of my Heavenly Father when I choose to obey His commandments and His teachings. When I am righteous and obedient I am hugely blessed and I see ways that God has made my life enjoyable, my challenges easier, and my struggles beneficial. By reading the Book of Mormon I feel closer to my Father in Heaven and I know what I should do in my life to continue being blessed and how to overcome my trials and challenges. The Holy Spirit testifies to me that what I read in the Book of Mormon is true and that I should continue to live in a manner pleasing to God. I know that my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love me more than I can comprehend. When I repent of my sins and transgressions I become clean again and worthy for even greater blessings and I am able to feel the Holy Ghost with me guiding me. This gospel brings me so much joy and love and I know that this is the true church of God. The only way that I can return to my Father in Heaven and Jesus Christ one day is if I live the teachings of this gospel, repent of my wrongdoings, and continue to obey His commandments. I want to live with God again for eternity and I know I will as long as I remain faithful, and I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

Since I like to help others, I enjoy serving. One way I live my faith and serve in the church is through my calling (church assignment). I currently teach a class of excellent faithful young adults in my ward. Outside of church I look for ways that I can be helpful to everyone and try to live my life like Christ would.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Basically paying 10% of your income is a way to show your faith, love, and appreciation for God and all He has blessed you with. By doing this you are helping others have opportunities that otherwise would not be available to them such as serving missions, attending church schools like BYU, and helping family history and temple work. You help the church construct temples and other buildings and maintain them. You are also helping God fulfill His purpose which is to help others live righteously and return to live with Him for eternity. You will also be blessed enormously even if they are in ways that you cannot see, but I promise you you will be blessed if you sincerely and honestly pay tithing. Show more Show less
