Hi I'm Phyllis

I live in Utah. I am a descendant of early pioneers who immigrated to the USA and then migrated to Utah after joining the church.

About Me

I am a wife and mother to 3 beautiful daughters. I work full-time as a Registered Nurse at a hospital locally. I love to hike and camp in the beautiful mountains in Utah and surrounding states.I scrapbook and enjoy counted cross-stitch.

Why I am a Mormon

I have grown up with this gospel all my life. I know that this is the restored gospel of Jesus Christ here on earth. Jesus Christ is our Savior and Redeemer...he is our pathway to return to God. I have gained a testimony of the truthfulness of the gospel through sincere prayer, studying the scriptures and the power of the Holy Ghost. The Book of Mormon is true. My faith gives me understanding and direction in my life. With God, all things are possible.

How I live my faith

Being a member of the church comes with many opportunities to teach and learn. I have had the opportunity to teach both pre-school/school-age children as well as teenagers. Meetings/classes on Sundays teach us more about the gospel and strengthen our testimony of Jesus Christ. We come together as a "ward family" and find ways to serve others. These acts can be as simple as a phone call or visit or providing a meal in a time of need. Service is a way of showing love your fellow man. Service provides blessings...to both the "recipient" and the "server."
