Hi I'm LeGrande Lolo

I grew up in Pesega Samoa. I'm currently serving a mission. I'm a Mormon, know it live it love it!

About Me

I am currently serving a full time mission in the Missouri St. Louis Mission! I am looking to go to College soon after my mission, and am hoping to go to BYU. I have grown up in a mixed racial family and it has helped me have a greater love and kinship for people of mixed heritage and unique backgrounds. I greatly enjoy story telling in the form of writing and am always looking for a good book to read. Music is very inspirational and influential to me, and I am never very far from my mp3. Laughing aloud and smiling are what I live for.

Why I am a Mormon

This gospel has been my rock a midst the turmoil of this life. I have faced many challenges, both personal and shared, and all of them have been overcome by the faith I have in Jesus Christ and my Heavenly Father. I have a testimony of the power of prayer and the sacred influence for good that the teachings of the prophets have on us. There have been times when I have fallen and drifted, and it has been the light of the gospel that has always lead me back to truth and understanding every time.

How I live my faith

Before leaving on my mission I used to write a weekly youth column for the local newspaper. In it I shared my daily challenges, trials and personal thoughts that I felt were most poignant and deep. I used this opportunity to share my beliefs and faith from the gospel and do my level best to work towards my own self improvement and growth. It has been both therapeutic for me, and a great opportunity to start my missionary work now. But since I am now a missionary, I get to serve every day through thorough scripture study, sharing my beliefs and testimony with those I teach and doing my best to understand God's plans for me.
