Hi I'm Sydney

I'm from Colorado. I love my family, friends, and smoothies. I am called to serve in the England London Mission. And I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up I was a gymnast and cheerleader. I love to read, write, and draw. I am excited to share the gospel to the people of England London. I'm extremely grateful that I grew up as a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

Why I am a Mormon

I'm a Mormon because the gospel is the one thing in my life that brings me everlasting joy. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a modern-day prophet. I know that our Father in Heaven lives and loves each and every one of us. I know that families can be together because of Him and His church.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by committing to serve a 18 month-long mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I live my faith by inviting others to come unto Christ and teach them of the importance of the Atonement.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Missionary service is strongly encouraged by the Church to anyone who is eligible, but it is not a requirement. No one is forced to serve a mission. All young men are asked to serve a mission at the earliest age of 18, but many retired seniors, women, and married couples choose to serve as well. Missionaries serve for a period of 18 months to 2 years. Missions are completely voluntary and and all missionaries are unpaid. Missionaries come from all parts of the world and are asked to serve in nearly every country on the earth. Every missionary is a witness of God and stands as an official representative of the Church.
