Hi I'm Janica

I'm energetic and bubbly. I love to sing, dance and cook. I'm proud to be a Mormon.

About Me

I am the youngest daughter and fourth in the family with five children. I grew up in the bountiful city of Makati here in the Philippines with my loving family. I went to college at Polytechnic University of the Philippines in Manila and graduated as Food Technologist. I'll be serving my mission at Philippines Cauayan Mission at Isabela province in northern part of the country. I'll be expecting to learn Ilocano dialect when I serve my mission. I really love cooking and want to learn baking after I return from my mission..

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints since I was a kid because my Dad was a member before he married my Mom. I am what they called born with the covenant. I am grateful knowing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and it brings happiness not only for myself but also for my family. The teachings of the church have increased my faith in Jesus Christ, provided knowledge of God's plan for me personally, and simply makes me a much better person than I would be otherwise. The commandments keep me safe. I know I belong to only true church of Jesus Christ with the fullness of his teachings and his authority on the Earth—a bold statement, but I have learned for myself through thoughts ands feelings as I have seriously studied the Book of Mormon and Bible, prayed, and applied the teachings of Jesus Christ in my life.

How I live my faith

Living my faith is by being a good example as what the Lord Jesus Christ do while he live on earth, setting good example to others especially to my own family, my friends, our neighbors and through all the people around me. I already received my Young Women Medallion before turning to single adult. I also became a young women adviser in our ward so that I can teach the other young women the virtue and values of being a good daughter of God. Before going on my mission they called me as a Ward Missionary to help the full-time missionaries in our area to share my testimony to other people who do not know the Gospel of Jesus .
