Hi I'm Erin

I grew up in Australia. I strive to be an example for my younger sibling. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a convert to the church, I was baptized on the 24th of November 2009. I love to read, sing and I love children. I love the innocence that they have and their honesty towards the world.

Why I am a Mormon

After I was baptized I had such a hard time fitting into young women's. The girls were already friends and it became hard when some of them didn't like me. After awhile I couldn't take it anymore and I stopped going for over a year. I remember pulling out my blue scriptures that my favourite sister missionary gave me and I flipped to the cover of The book of Mormon and inside was a passage from her and after reading it I broke down in tears. I remember one specific line saying that I shall always have a place within her heart, and to know that someone who started out as a stranger loved me and was willing to give me a part of her light, (the gospel) I knew that I had to strive through my trials and be where Heavenly Father wants me to be, and for this I shall never forget that sister missionary for sharing the light with me.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by doing what I now to be right. Although I'm technically way to old for seminary (an activity which young men and women in grades from 9 - 12 take the time ever morning to study the scriptures in one big class and know more about the gospel and the plan Heavenly Father has for us) My calling within my ward is Music Director and I love and dislike getting up in front of everyone, waving my arm around and hearing them sing! It is special to now that I can make the Sacrament meeting peaceful, joyful, etc; depending on what song I choose.
