Hi I'm Lizzie

I was born and raised in Utah, I'm a runner and a musician in chamber choir. A definite expert on all things Disney

About Me

I was born in Utah and have lived here all my life. However, I absolutely love to travel and experience other places and cultures. I love spending time outside. Hiking, running, rappelling, backpacking, and even just going for a bike ride. Music is a huge part of my life. I am in chamber choir at my high school and am studying to be a choir directior. I'm a terrible dancer, but I have regular danc-offs with my sister. I absolutely love my family and we go on adventures almost daily. Most of all, I love the gospel and am preparing for a mission and a temple marriage.

Why I am a Mormon

Both of my parents are Mormon, so I was born into the church. I went to church because that's what my family did. But I've kept going to church because I love the spirit that's there. I feel the power of God each week in church and especially during the sacrament. I study my scriptures because I can feel the spirit everytime I do, and because it's brought countless blessigs into my life. As a young child, I kept God's commandments because it was the right thing to do, and I was skeptical about what people say about growing to love the commandments, but as I've grown older, I've been more able to see the blessings and the spiritual power that come into my life as I do what's right, and I honestly do love he commandments and the protection that they've been to me. I love my Heavenly Father and my Savior, Jesus Christ. I know they are literally part of my eternal family anf I'm so incredibly grateful for all the blessings that Heavenly Father has sent me, and for the example and sacrifice of Jesus. My knowledge of them has enabled me to do more and to love more. The more I look, the more I can see God's hand in my life every day.

How I live my faith

I do my best to get 30 minutes of scripture study every morning and to go to the temple once a week. I try to be good influence on the people around me and to serve and bless my friends. I go to church and mutual each week and reserve Monday night is family time.
