Hi I'm Emilee Thomas

Idaho is my home. Rain is my favorite smell. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I am a student at UVU aspiring to study dental hygiene. I deferred for eighteen months and served a full-time mission in Fort Collins, Colorado, which includes the lovely state of Wyoming (where I actually spent my entire mission)! Things I love: the outdoors, music, laughing, chocolate chip cookie dough, traveling, the color navy, watermelon, small towns, autumn, family, playing the piano, meeting new people, climbing trees, snowboarding, friends, desserts and junk food, baby animals, anything fuzzy or soft, deep conversations, the temple, and the gospel. Oh, and--more than anything else-- I love my Savior, Jesus Christ.

Why I am a Mormon

I love being a Mormon because honestly, this is the only way to get back to our Heavenly Father. He has a great Plan of Happiness for each of us and I know that He loves me and knows me personally. I find strength in the sacrifice that Jesus Christ preformed and I know that by faith in Jesus Christ and His Atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the Gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end is the only way we can return to live with God again. He has provided a way!

How I live my faith

I live my faith daily. I find much joy studying the scriptures, doing service for other people, and most of all serving God with all my heart, might, mind, and strength!

What do Mormons believe about the Bible? Do they regard it as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

Emilee Thomas
We believe the Bible to be the word of God as far as it is translated correctly, and we also believe the Book of Mormon to be the word of God. Show more Show less
