Hi I'm Samantha Becker

Born and raised all over Utah. I Ballroom Dance and love American Sign Language. Smiling is my favorite. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated High School with honor GPA and CPA and as a member of the ASLHS (American Sign Language Honor Society). I took one semester of college online. I've been indoor skydiving, I like night hiking and walking. I believe that optimism is the best ism.

Why I am a Mormon

I continue to be a member of His church because I have a testimony of the Savior and the healing power of the Atonement. I know this gospel has helped me come closer to Him and closer to my true potential. I am not perfect but I know that someday, with His help, I can be. I know Joseph Smith is a Prophet of God and that he restored this church in fullness today. I know that Thomas S. Monson is a true prophet and is seer and revelator of this day. I know my Savior lives, and loves me. I know my Heavenly Father loves me and wants me to return to him someday. I know the Book of Mormon to be the word of God, and that we can receive revelation and spiritual truth from it and the Holy Bible. I know this to be true, without a shadow of doubt. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.

How I live my faith

I live my faith everyday, one step at a time. I pray on my knees and in my heart, read scriptures and feast on words of happiness. I live my faith by attending church every Sunday, and keeping it holy. I serve the Lord full-time,as a sister missionary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and couldn't be more excited to be sharing the true plan of happiness to His children.

Are all Mormons required to serve a mission?

Samantha Becker
Not all members are required to serve a mission. It is a priesthood obligation for men to go (though it is still a choice they make on their own) where sisters are not under that same obligation: they are welcomed to service if they wish to represent the Savior. Show more Show less
