Hi I'm Romney

I'm the oldest of seven children, and I'm going to serve a mission in Yekaterinburg, Russia. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm 18 years old, and I love to spend time with my family. I'm the oldest of seven children; six girls and one boy. I went to one semester of school, and now I'm preparing to serve a full-time mission in the Russian Yekaterinburg Mission. I love to hang out with my friends and go on fun adventures with them, like hiking or going to find random places to hang out and have fun. I like to watch movies and learn new things. I like to cook and make new and delicious dinners for my family.

Why I am a Mormon

I absolutely love being a member of this church. I've been a member all my life, and I'm so grateful for my wonderful parents who have taught me all about the gospel. I love it because it makes me happier than I've ever been before. Every time I read the Book of Mormon or go to church, I learn something new that I've never heard before. The gospel of Jesus Christ never changes, and I love that I can still learn new concepts every time I hear about the gospel. I'm so grateful for Jesus Christ and His example. It's so amazing that He performed the Atonement, an amazing sacrifice for us. I know that He is my brother and He loves me more than I can imagine. I know that if I follow the commandments and do the best I can to live a righteous life, then I can return to live with Him someday. I know that I am sealed to my family forever, and I love the temple so much. It brings be such amazing blessings, and I know that His Spirit is there in the temple with me whenever I go. I love this gospel, and I'm so happy because I live it.

How I live my faith

While I was up at school, I was a visiting teacher (I taught other women in my ward), and I was a family history consultant (I helped find name for family history). In my ward at home, I was a ward missionary, and I loved going out with them to teach lessons to investigators and tell them about the gospel.
