Hi I'm Gabrielle

I'm a figure skater. I'm a college student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I started figure skating when I was six years old and fell in love with it. It's been a huge part of my life for the past 13 years. Now I enjoy coaching young kids who have the same passion as me. I love serving others and find joy in the happiness that it brings to them. I am a sophomore in college and about to embark on a new adventure in my life- I'm serving a mission.

Why I am a Mormon

Growing up in the church, it took me awhile to really gain my own testimony. I don't think I realized how blessed I was to be a Mormon until my senior year of high school. My family moved right before my senior year for my dad's job and let me stay with another family from church in order to graduate there. It was a year of so many changes for me, and I had never felt so alone. I solely depended on the Lord to help me feel okay. And he did just that. From this experience, my testimony was stronger than it ever has been before and just continues to be strengthened through all my spiritual experiences. I am now preparing to serve a mission because I want to share the joy this gospel brings into my life with other people.

How I live my faith

I have been a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints my whole life. I was baptized when I was 8 years old. I have grown up all over the United States- Oregon, Florida, Texas, Colorado. I never had too many LDS friends but I always shared with them what I believe. I invited them to church and church activities, and it helped them to understand my faith better. Although, they never joined the church, it helped them to help me keep my standards. They knew my values and respected them. Throughout my callings in the church, it has brought me closer to my Savior and strengthened my testimony.
