Hi I'm Evan

Born in Canada, raised in Utah, I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a student at BYU-Provo! I am studying Psychology, and when I get time away I play my guitar, find a friend, or go outside! My favorite sports/activities include Volleyball, rock climbing, racquetball, Frisbee, (You know, the little sports haha). I have played Guitar for 5 years, and hope to be able to write a song or two of my own someday. I have always loved other people, and have enjoyed not only getting to know an individual, but what they believe, how they work, and if there is some way I can help them. I'm Evan, I love people, and I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I feel the love, truth, and support of this Church. It's like a big family, and sure, just like most families, we don't get along, or someone makes a mistake, but just like a family we are there for each other! I'm a Mormon because I can't imagine a life without my Lord and Savior. I'm a Mormon because I find truth, warmth, and meaning in my faith. I'm a Mormon because it leads me into a safe and healthy lifestyle. But, most importantly, I'm a Mormon because I choose to be.

How I live my faith

I yearn to live my faith by daily activities. Little moments of service or sacrificing of ones time and strength. That's why I love Psychology - I get to help others, and just listen! I served in Knoxville Tennessee, but had to come home early for some health issues. I have always wanted to look back at my shortened mission experience as a good thing that could help others, or as a way I could connect to someone else. There are a lot of reasons to be an active member in my faith, but for me I find comfort in always having someone who understands my life situations, thoughts, desires, pains, griefs, and just simply who I really am. This person for me is my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and I have an un-payable debt to him. I am so grateful for my life, all the experiences I've had... and I'm only 22! So Here's to many more!
