Hi I'm Maren

Born in Bountiful, Utah. I cannot wait to serve as a full-time missionary in the Zambia Lusaka mission. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently a student at Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah. I am 19 years old and the youngest of 5 kids in my family. I like to dance, rock climb, ski, water-ski, and read. I am planning on majoring in Nursing when I return home from my mission. I love to learn about Math and Science. I will be leaving behind all personal affairs, and spending 18 months in the Zambia Lusaka mission to spread the happiness that the gospel of Jesus Christ has offered me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because the knowledge I have of eternal families brings so much peace to my life. We are on this Earth to learn and to grow. Following the commandments that our loving Heavenly Father has given us brings me happiness. I am a much happier person when I am being obedient compared to when I am not. I have prayed to my Father in Heaven with a sincere heart to discover the truthfulness of this gospel, and he has confirmed to me that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is the true church among the Earth today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church each Sunday. I go each week to feel the spirit, and to learn more about this gospel. No one has a perfect knowledge of the gospel, and that is why attending church meetings is so important. I am currently in a Young Single Adult ward, and each week I plan fun activities for a small group in my ward that occurs each Monday. I also attend a Book of Mormon and Mission Preparation class twice a week to increase my knowledge of the scriptures.
