Hi I'm Ken

I am a retired Royal Canadian Airforce officer and currently run a bed and breakfast in Prince Edward Island,Canada. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Having grown up in a military family and having been in the military for 20 years myself, I have traveled extensively and have lived in many different places around the world;mostly in Canada, the USA, and Western Europe. I have five Children and currently run a B&B with my family in beautiful PEI, Canada. My interest lie mostly with outdoor sports such as canoeing, hiking, and camping. I also play piano and enjoy singing songs with my family. I have an undergrad degree in Business and Economics and an Executive MBA from Athabasca University.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon simply because I know that the gospel is true. There are so many great things about the gospel. The principles of the Gospel strengthen families and draw people nearer to Christ. I love the fact that through the great plan set our by our Father, that I can be together with my family forever, not just for this earthly life. I am also very grateful for a Prophet who is on the earth today who still speaks with our Father in Heaven to receive revelation for us all today.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to do whatever the Lord asks me to do. I have held many responsibilities in the Church since my baptism in 1995 including be the leader of our congregation. Through Church responsibilities, I have been blessed to work with our young men extensively through the youth program. Other than accepting specific responsibilities in leadership positions, I live my faith by being obedient to the laws and commandments of the gospel. By doing this, I believe that I am better able to receive promptings from our Heavenly Father through the Holy Ghost. As I listen and follow these promptings, all my daily actions and activities will be in tune with spirit. This is especially important when making decisions with my family and deciding my actions as a Husband and Father.
