Hi I'm Olivia

I'm an Oregonian. I love running, music and traveling. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently seventeen years old, a senior in high school, and plan to attend college in Utah this fall. I have a passion for long distance running. I love to bake, and like to claim that my cupcakes are the best around. I also love singing and playing the violin, along with a love for music in general. I was born and raised in Oregon, and love to be surrounded by the beauty of nature. Humanitarian work has changed my life, and my love of service grows more everyday. My favorite days are the days spent surrounded by family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints because I believe it is the only true church upon this earth. The spirit, and joy I have felt by being a member of this church are indescribable. I know that we have a Heavenly Father in heaven who loves us so dearly, and I have truly felt his love, even in the most challenging time in my life. By following the counsel of our church and its authorities my life has been all the more blessed, and I have developed an everlasting relationship with my father in heaven. I believe the Book of Mormon to be another testament of Christ, and the truest book on this earth. It's purpose is to bring the truth to the world in these latter days. I have read it, I have pondered it, and I would not be apart of this church if I did not believe that each and every world with in that book is true. It is a tool to help us in these latter days as the world drifts farther away from the right path back to our Heavenly Father. I love being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ. I am so glad I have been raised with in this gospel, and to know that I am a daughter of God.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by coming closer to Christ in all that I do. One of the ways I live my faith is by serving others. I try to see a need and fill it, and participate in planned service projects as often as I can. I think the easiest way to live the faith is to love our fellow men. When we love others, we are able to come closer to Christ, and follow his perfect example.
