Hi I'm Shantae Lee

I grew up in Hong Kong but lives in Utah. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in Hong Kong but came back to Utah for better education. Now I'm a college student and I'm called to serve as a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I love reading, especially Harry Potter, and watching movies. But most important of all, I love spending time with my family. They are my backbone and I love them dearly.

Why I am a Mormon

My parents are converts so I grew up in the church. I've always been taught the commandments, gospel doctrines. For me, the church has always been a part of me and my life. As I grew up, I started to come up with different theories about the church. Sometimes I have doubts. One day, I was reading the Book of Mormon. There was this particular scripture that stood out to me and testify to me that Heavenly Father loves me and cares for me. From that point on, I know this gospel is true and that's why I'm a Mormon.

How I live my faith

As a community, our ward serve others as a sign of love and support. A few years ago, my leader and I helped an elderly sister to clean her front and back yard as a preparation for spring. We planted different kinds of flowers and mowed her lawn. It was an humble experience for me to show my love to the elderly sister.
