Hi I'm Joseph Hardy

I have grown up in the lovely land of Australia been the youngest of my amazing family of 6 and Yes Yes Yes Yes Yes...I'm a Mormon

About Me

At the moment im serving a full time mission, for the church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints in the New Zealand Wellington mission. Back home I lived with my parents in a lovely place Called Darwin in the Nothern Territory of Australia, I Love my fishing especially with friends, I enjoy going out hunting and just been a normal darwinite. I finished school and worked on a gas plant for a year, and now love my life serving the lord, as a disciple of Jesus Christ. When I get home I plan on getting back into school, and going and hopefully one day getting a family and a good job.

Why I am a Mormon

My whole life I grew up in a loving family, with parents who were strong members of the church, of course I followed them to church and to activities. Of course living this way always leads to questioning and finally deciding that its time to make the decision for myself. It was a slow process and my faith and testimony still get strengthened and tested every day, especially while serving the lord, but what I can say is as I decided to find out if the church is really true for myself at a young age, it wasn't a fast answer. But I do now have an answer. The process didn't happen through sitting there wondering about what I was going to eat for the next week, it came through dedication to pray, study and pondering. through the power of the holy ghost that we can all have I found out that this is the only true church on the earth today. I know that you can find out that for yourself too the same way I did, it want be a slap to the face answer, but just like the bible says, line upon line, you will find that answer, and one day it will be as clear knowledge.

How I live my faith

As a missionary I live my faith everyday, through talking to people everywhere I go and invited people to live the gospel in there day to day life. Before my mission, every knew about my faith, I lived my faith by been proud of who I was (a son of god) and by been an example to all those who knew what I was apart of I also lived my faith with the opportunities I have to serve with the young men aged 12-18, I lived my faith by helping these boys strengthen there faith, and having fun while doing it, I was able to take part in camps and every week activities that taught these boys about life and the gospel.

What is the Mormon lifestyle like? How do Mormons live?

Joseph Hardy
The Mormon lifestyle, is in the world but not of the world. We are taught to strive to keep the commandments of our Heavenly Father, which in turn we are promised to have job and happiness not just in this life but in the life to come. We live just as any other person but we hold family and family time as a very special and much needed thing, we still live normal lives such as work ethics and school, hanging out with friends, but we pride our self's on the dedication we have for the gospel and for helping other around us. Which in turns leads to living in happiness and joy. Show more Show less
