Hi I'm Levi Gold

I'm a proud Wyoming native; I love stories, Star Wars, Harry Potter, science, and being a Mormon.

About Me

My name is Levi, I'm from Wyoming, and I love many things. Music has always been a central part of my life. Not a day goes by when I don't pull up my favorite songs. I sing in choirs as a tenor and I love jazz, classical, pop, and country music. I love being a fan of Star Wars, Avatar: The Last Airbender, Harry Potter, DC, Marvel, Lord of the Rings, and pretty much anything else you'd find at a small-town Comic Con. I also passionately love science. From Geology to Astronomy, Biology to Physics, I enjoy learning about all fields. Science is a glorious and powerful tool. To me, it's a way of discovering a little bit about how God does what He does. Most important of all to me is my family. My parents are awesome, and I'm the oldest of six children.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents and grandparents were also all brought up in the Church, and many of my ancestors were among the its first members. However, for the longest time, church was just a place we went every Sunday. When I was 16 years old, I realized that it's more than that. Being a Mormon isn't just a bunch of stories and rules, a way of life, or even how you see yourself and others. Being a Mormon is about your having a close relationship with Jesus Christ. His Gospel changed my life forever, and it continues to every day. When you put your faith in Him and follow His commandments, getting up every day becomes something to look forward to. Before I personally committed to being a member of the Church, life was difficult and hard to live. Now, life is still difficult to live, but it feels easy.

How I live my faith

I love being a Mormon. In fact, I love it so much that I am serving a full-time, volunteer proselyting mission for the Church for two years. As a missionary, I represent the Church by seeking out opportunities for community service and teaching others about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it, and I want others to know what I know.
